Meg Humphries

After some roles in education and libraries I found my way to community work, and loved it. I’ve previously worked for two parish councils as well as some local resilience projects, and I really enjoy supporting local communities.

I live in the north of the Forest of Dean, near the River Severn with my dog, but I’ve spent a lot of time in and around Cheltenham and I have family and friends there too. When not at my desk I enjoy pottering around in the garden, reading, films and wild swimming. I can already see that Swindon has an active community and I’m really looking forward to serving you all.
