Katy Kendry
 Katy is a Science teacher who has lived and worked in Cheltenham for over twenty years. A new and enthusiastic Parish Councillor, she is keen to contribute to and support the local community. Alongside her professional role, Katy has aways been an active member of the community, running a messy play group for toddlers, volunteering as a Cub Scout leader, while raising her two children. As a Biologist she has a longstanding interest in ecology, wildlife, and technology, and leads several school initiatives including a gardening club, Eco-Committee, and a climate science weather balloon team, inspiring young people to engage with environmental issues. In her spare time, Katy enjoys photography of both natural landscapes and cityscapes, growing hydroponic vegetables, and cultivating wildflowers. She is passionate about building a caring, connected community, encouraging people to engage with nature, and supporting the rewilding of local green spaces. |
